Silvershine
But no....we needn't have worried because on Sunday morning an email popped up in the welovebearwood google mail from Paul and Kim Foad to say that jazz was back in Bearwood to stay.
"The late Andy Hamilton's regular Thursday evening jazz nights at the Corks Club in Bearwood is now up and running. As a tribute to Andy, the Bearwood Jazz club is going to be renamed after his first album, Silvershine.
Andy Hamilton
The first Silvershine Jazz Club jam session is this week so to kick it off style why not bring your instrument and show off your talents down at Corks (558 Bearwood Road ) on Thursday night (18 October). Everybody's welcome.
Paul and Kim also mentioned that "One not to miss on the 25th October is Graeme Hamilton, one of Andy Hamilton's sons, and a superb trumpeter, who has played with some of the world's top pop and jazz musician. Graeme Hamilton will be playing with a special guest band."
