Clear the dance floor because this Thursday the legendary Soul Providers are coming to The Silvershine Jazz Club on Bearwood Road.
Playing soul classics from Atlantic Records and Stax this band are bound to get everybody up on their feet.
The night’s in aid of raising money for the charity, Uganda Interface, so we spoke to our favourite jazz club to find out more.
"The band features 3 Horns, bass guitar, drums, rhythm guitar, keyboards plus a male and a female vocalist. Musicians are from Birmingham and Black Country and four play in the Out of the Blue big band. the repertoire is classic Atlantic, Stax and other soul numbers.
Proceeds will go to Interface Uganda... ..this is a plastic reconstructive surgery charity which plays an important role in getting people back into work and into society in Uganda."
