Yep, it's nearly time for the second Bearwood Shuffle and we've been lucky enough to land a pretty darn special headline act...Aziz! Featuring acclaimed Stone Roses guitarist and co-writer of some of Ian Brown's biggest tunes, Aziz Ibrahim, along with Dalbir Singh Rattan (Paul Weller's go to guy for the tabla and sitar) Aziz are an frankly amazing band who've played sessions for Radio 1, appeared at Womad and done a nice little gig in somewhere called Buckingham Palace. Yes, even Her Maj is a fan. Perhaps she'll pop down? You're more than welcome ma'am...we'll even treat you to a Neelams Kebab. Anyway, on top of Aziz we'll have a whole bunch of other fine local bands on the bill (more details to follow), together with craft stalls, refreshments and guaranteed sunshine. Honest. It all starts at 2pm on Sunday 18th September at the bandstand in Lightwoods Park and it's free to attend!
